Alex & Sam represented the U11/12 Boys Hockey team for the Milton Keynes District at the Bucks Youth Games on Saturday 6th June2009. The teams are made up from boys selected from local schools and clubs to represent their district.
Milton Keynes won for the third year running after scoring a dramatic “golden goal” as extra time saw them still drawing with High Wycome.
Alex was in the same winning hockey team last year and recently won the Most Valued Player award for his age group at Milton Keynes Hockey Club.
Sam and Alex have also been selected for specialist coaching at county level, having been nominated by their club, and Sam has also been selected for specialist goalkeeping coaching.
